FAQs
Why is the Penrose Mattress so special?
At Penrose Mattress Company, we've spent decades building and designing mattresses for hotel rooms, helping to deliver great sleep to hotel guests across the world. Now with the Penrose American Hybrid Mattress, we're able to apply that experience to building the best possible mattress for our customers.
This mattress pairs cushioning memory foam with a responsive pocket coil base to offer a mattress that's perfectly in the sweet spot - not too hard, not too soft, not too bouncy, not too dead. The result is a better night's sleep for you, for years and years.
How does the Penrose Mattress feel?
The Penrose American Hybrid Mattress is a medium-firm, about a 6 out of 10 firmness. Because it pairs both cushioning memory foam with a supportive pocket coil base, it also provides great pressure-relief along with the full body support that your body needs.
Does the mattress work with a box-spring / platform / bed slats / adjustable base?
Yes, the Penrose Mattress works on any firm, flat surface. You can place it on a platform bed, on a boxspring or foundation, or directly on bed slats as long as they're not more than 3" apart. The mattress is also fully compatible with adjustable bases and movable beds. The Penrose Mattress can be used with a murphy bed solution. Contact us at hello@penrosemattress.com with any questions.
